Fiserv introduces conversational banking

In collaboration with Clinc, Fiserv has launched conversational banking capabilities for banks and credit unions.

In Brief:

  • Natural language will be used to engage with customers in tailored ways.

  • It will enable a range of digital banking experiences.

  • The Virtual Banking Assistant uses Clinc’s AI technology.

What does this mean?

Customers will be able to use voice to ask for account and finance info, view bills, look at past transactions and more, all in real time. The service will take the strain off call centres, but will also help FIs fulfill their customers’ increasing expectations, even providing actionable insights to guide future spending.
