Square has launched its first integration with Clearpay in the UK.

Clearpay, the Australian buy now, pay later business, was acquired by payments giant Block (the rebranded name for the Square organisation) last year.
Sellers with Square can offer Clearpay both on and offline.
The UK is the first market to launch BNPL across all platforms at the same time including in-store purchases.
What does this mean?
The BNPL capabilities will be available to Square users and can also be integrated with Square’s developers and partners. Customers of businesses using square can access interest-free instalment payments. Online, Clearpay is embedded as an option within the checkout system while in person, any Square point of sale device can be used to accept Clearpay.
