Paysend expands peer-to-peer money transfers internationally with Visa

Paysend, which enables peer-to-peer money transfer, has said it’s expanding its service to new markets.

In Brief:

The business has said US and UK customers can now send funds globally.

They'll need to do so to a qualified Visa card.

This is being done through Visa Direct and can include 107 countries and territories (114 for those in the UK).

What does this mean?

Paysend has seen significant growth since expanding into the US in 2020 and now serves more than 5mn customers. The Visa Direct integration now offers customers in both the UK and US more options to send money, and Paysend is expecting an “exponential number of new transactions”.
