Payhawk raises £83mn for international expansion 

Payhawk, a Lonon based FinTech, has raised £83mn in its Series B funding round. 

In Brief:

Payhawk builds back-office software that enables businesses to manage cashflow. 

It was founded in Bulgaria but is now based in the UK. 

The round included Greenoaks and existing investors. 

What does this mean?

Payhawk has seen significant growth over the past couple of years as cash flow becomes an increasing issue for businesses. It says transactions on its platform are growing at a 45% rate each month and the new funding will enable it to further develop its enterprise software.
