Klarna partners with Marqeta in Europe

Buy now, pay later business Klarna has chosen Marqeta as its card issuer partner in Europe. 

In Brief:

Marqeta already has a partnership with Klarna in the US and APAC. 

It also helped Klarna launch its UK shopping app in May. 

It will now support Klarna’s single-use virtual cards in 12 European markets. 

What does this mean?

Marqeta brings experience of launching products in new and complex markets, which is why Klarna has chosen to partner with the business as it expands rapidly.
