FinTech Wales has recruited a new Head of Skills to address the growing skills gap in the country.

Gemma Hallett joins the team following a career in education and professional rugby.
She also founded miFuture, an EdTech that aims to unlock career opportunities in Wales for young people.
At FinTech Wales, Hallett will lead on the Skills Strategy.
What does this mean?
As an experienced educator as well as a technology founder, Hallett will help shape the strategy of this membership association to increase awareness of FinTech career opportunities in Wales, and to help people develop and retain the skills the sector needs, as well as enabling existing workers to upskill.
