FinTech Moove partners with Uber UK on electric vehicles

“Mobility FinTech” Moove has partnered with Uber UK to supply electric vehicles.

In Brief:

Moove is Uber’s largest vehicle supply partner in EMEA.

It will bring 10,000 electric vehicles to London for Uber with a “rent to buy” model.

There will be no upfront costs for the vehicles, and Moove will also supply a charging network.

What does this mean?

Moove originated in Africa and has launched in the European market offering customers the chance to “rent to buy” an electric vehicle for a weekly fee. It's hoped that Moove will be the largest EV partner on Uber’s platform in London and supply 10,000 vehicles by 2025, as the ride-hailing giant looks to be an all-electric platform in the city.
