Legal firm Ashurst has launched an accelerator programme for FinTechs.
FinTech Legal Labs aims to provide FinTechs with the legal knowhow and networking opportunities to thrive in the current landscape.
Over a few days the accelerator will cover the key areas of law relevant to FinTech businesses and connect them with leading financial institutions and joint venture partners.
The project comes from an increasing demand from FinTech companies at various stages of development for proper legal support in a changing regulatory landscape.
The three-day programme includes panel sessions on key legal subjects, the chance to hear from subject matter experts, leading investors and advisors, as well as the opportunity to present to investors.
Topics covered will include data and privacy, corporate and business structures, IP, capital markets, employment and tax.
Applications to join the accelerator are now open – you can find out how here.
