How to build your pitch deck

About: Getting a foot in the door is a great achievement, but with only a short time in front of investors, founders must make the most of it. 

Join business coach Yannis Iliopoulos for a workshop on how to put your best foot forward and present your pitch, with a particular focus on public speaking and storytelling. The discussion will then be opened up to Founders and Investors to share their pitching experiences, including insights from Ellen Logan, Augmentum VC and advice for female founders from Athena Ventures’ Louise McCarthy.

Negotiating term sheets

About: What do standard terms look like, anyway? Founders often struggle with a lack of transparency and inexperience when it comes to term sheets. About: Having been put through their paces in our masterclasses and worked on their pitches, it’s crunch time: 20 FinTechs will have the chance to put what they’ve learned into practice on our live Pitch Day. 

A cross-section of FinTechs from around the UK, selected by our judges, will have the chance to pitch in front of prominent Angel and VC investors, including Augmentum Fintech, Anthemis, Insight Partners, Fidelity and Visa Ventures. 

They will then get the chance to network with the investors, gain feedback and maybe even strike a deal!
