Global wealth manager Credit Suisse has hired a new chief technology and operations officer, Joanne Hannaford.
In Brief:
Hannaford was previously head of EMEA tech at Goldman Sachs.
She replaces current COO James Walker, who will take a new position in the bank.
The priority will be to place technology at the centre of Credit Suisse’s financial services offering.
What does this mean?
In her time at Goldman Sachs, Hannaford also worked as co-head of enterprise platforms, and was in charge of “resiliency” at the bank, which will be valuable experience in a post-Covid world.
