OpenPayd's latest white paper reveals that European brands expect to generate €626bn by 2028 with embedded payments and embedded banking

-The research, Embedded finance in 2023: Leaders, laggards and lingerers, in which senior executives from payroll and B2B fintech, B2C and B2B marketplaces, horizontal SaaS brands and gig economy platforms were surveyed, unveils how European brands view and plan to implement embedded finance into their strategies.
-74% of businesses are planning to launch embedded finance solutions.
-Leaders in embedded finance (25%) are most likely to be in Payroll, B2B Fintech and SaaS. The lingerers (25%) are companies who have firm plans to introduce embedded financial services but, due to a number of reasons, are yet to formalise them. The laggards (50%) have not yet launched embedded finance offerings, and do not have concrete plans to do so (though they may well be considering it).
