Clearpay bring in-store BNPL to UK

Clearpay, a “buy now, pay later” business, has announced its in-store solution is being made available to UK customers.

In Brief:

Clearpay can now be used to buy items in selected retail stores using the Clearpay card.

This is a virtual, contactless card stored in a digital wallet.

It will enable customers to pay for items in installment payments, with no interest.

What does this mean?

Clearpay currently has partnerships with brands like Pandora, Footlocker, Smiggle and The Fragrance Shop. As shoppers gear up for Christmas, they can already choose BNPL provider Klarna to shop at any merchant instore or on Klarna’s app – so Clearpay’s solution can now tap into this market and offer customers more choice.
