Chainsmokers’ VC fund invests in US FinTech Hearth 

Hearth, a US-based FinTech company, has raised $23mn. 

In Brief:

The business offers home improvement loans which customers can qualify for in minutes. 

It enables home contractors themselves to extend financing options to perspective customers. 

The Chainsmokers’ venture capital entity, Mantis, invested in the business. 

What does this mean?

Mantis, which raised $35mn last year, has already invested in a mortgage lending company called LoanSnap as well as digital businesses like FitOn.
