Capdesk acquired by Carta

Capdesk, a European equity management business, has been acquired by Carta.

In Brief: 

Carta is a Silicon Valley based equity management firm serving over 30,000 companies. 

It works with firms to support cap tables, compensation, valuations, portfolio investments and more. 

Capdesk helps companies like Plum and Checkout.com manage their ownership on one platform.

What does this mean? 

The deal will see Capdesk customers use Carta’s products and services such as its valuation tools.
