Landbay, a specialist buy-to-let lender and part of FinTech Alliance, has achieved carbon neutral status.
In Brief:
It's been officially certified as a Carbon Neutral Business for offsetting its greenhouse gas emissions.
This endorsement comes from Carbon Neutral Britain.
It has also limited its emissions as much as possible.
What does this mean?
The Carbon Neutral Business certification lasts for a year, so Landbay will need to keep up the work and renew it on an annual basis. At present, it says the main sources of carbon dioxide are from staff commuting to work and working from home, business travel, and the company’s head office building. Carbon Neutral Britain funds various renewable energy projects.
