British Business Investments commits to regional investment

British Business Investments has committed £10mn to Dow Schofield Watts Angels.

In Brief:  

  • The capital will be invested alongside the DSW Angels network into early stage businesses.

  • It will mean £30mn total new funding for scaleup businesses.

  • The Regional Angels Programme is worth £100mn in total.

What does this mean?

The network is one of the largest business angel networks in the North, working on behalf of 90 investors manly in the North West, Yorkshire and North East – the investment will help it expand to the Midlands and South West.
