Three-quarters of UK start up have positive outlook

The findings come in a new survey by the Angel Investment Network


In Brief:

AIN surveyed 645 startup and 72% were confident of growth over the next 12 months.

The number of start ups with a positive 12 month outlook has nearly doubled over the past 12 months.

That is despite the financial and investment blow caused by the pandemic - 54% were negatively impacted with investors pulling out during that time.


What does this mean?

After nearly 18 months of market uncertainty the appetite for investing in smart new start ups is strong. 

AIN sees a pent up demand for fundraising and  a record number of connections on its platform.
