Afterpay to offer BNPL on Expedia

 Afterpay has announced a new partnership with travel company Expedia. 

In Brief: 

Customers can make four no-interest payments after booking. 

The total cost is paid within six weeks. 

Expedia is said to be the largest travel business Afterpay has partnered with. 

What does this mean? 

Amid the cost of living crisis customers are looking for more flexible options to pay – increasingly in more essential sectors. BNPL services say there’s a record demand in the travel sector at the moment – but this is all happening against a backdrop of concern about the responsible structuring and advertising of these kind of products.
