Klarna expands partnership with Asos

Asos and Klarna have announced they are extending their partnership.

In Brief:

  • Klarna allows customers in the UK to pay in interest free instalments for their ecommerce transactions on sites like Asos.

  • Klarna’s Pay in 3 lets Asos customers pay in one instalment at point of purchase and then two further payments.

  • The agreement builds on Klarna’s existing relationship with Asos which began in 2017.

What does this mean?

The two companies aim to provide shoppers with “choice and flexibility”, and with Christmas just around the corner many consumers are looking to gain credit for last minute purchases. Fast fashion has been possibly the most popular industry for ‘buy now, pay later’ services within ecommerce.
