A new coding academy has been launched in Wales to address the current skills gap.

FinTech Wales has partnered with Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC).
The “fast-track training programme” helps people become back- and front-end developers.
It’s already trained 28 people aged 21-62.
What does this mean?
The academy has been set up to address a gap in coding skills which impacts the FinTech industry. Its aim is to help people of various ages from different career backgrounds to learn about Javascript, CSS, HTML and more. The academy also offered a small salary and opportunities to meet FinTech companies.
