Financial services venture capital firm Anthemis has raised $90mn for a new fund.

The new fund is aimed at InsurTech.
It will focus on backing companies that are helping digitise the insurance industry.
Investors include Aflac Global Ventures, Sumitomo Life and Nürnberger in partnership with Daido Life Insurance Company.

Founded in 2010, Anthemis is well known as a FinTech investment firm and has so far backed digital banks such as Atom.
Anthemis is also hosting one of the events in FinTech Alliance’s investment series.
