Curve raises £9.9mn through crowdfunding

FinTech Alliance company Curve has raised $10mn through its recent campaign on Crowdcube.

In Brief:

Curve enables users to aggregate all their cards into one, but is also adding more bank-like features.

The round involved almost 12,000 investors.

It was the fastest ever on Crowdcube to reach £6mn.

What does this mean?

Crowdfunding is more than just a way to raise capital – for many FinTechs it’s a way to connect with their customers and make people feel more involved in the business.

Curve COO Nathalie Oestmann said on LinkedIn: “It feels pretty good to get this kind of endorsement... 85% of our almost 10,000 investors so far are Curve customers.”
