Scottish startup Zumo is hoping to raise £10mn funding.
In Brief:
-
This follows a successful round on Seedrs which exceeded the £1mn target in four days.
-
Zumo is a non-custodial wallet and payments platform which allows crypto and fiat to work together.
-
Its app launched in June this year.
What does this mean?
CEO and Co-Founder Nick Jones says a lot of the company’s initial growth was due to word of mouth – as well as good timing since Bitcoin has increased in popularity this year. Zumo says it enables people to discover how easy it is to use cryptocurrency, so people who are unsure can try it out.
