Wise has offered the opportunity for investments from the US.

US customers, retail and institutional investors will be able to invest in Wise from September.
Wise went public back in the UK July in a listing valued at £8bn.
It has now launched an “American Depositary Receipt” to enable US investors to invest.
What does this mean?
Prior to this, only UK and EU residents could invest in the business – now, US investors can get involved directly, without cross-border and cross-currency transactions.
