Digital investment platform Wealthify, part of FinTech Alliance, has partnered with open banking business Tink.
In Brief:
Tink will help power the platform’s payment initiation services.
This will make it easier for investors to put money in their investment accounts.
Tink’ payment initiation service (PIS) technology will be embedded in the Wealthify app.
What does this mean?
The partnership enables Wealthify to move away from the manual process where people had to initiate a payment by using their bank – now, through open banking, their bank account can be linked to Wealthify.
