Visa teams up with Plastiq for supplier payments

US Visa commercial cardholders will be able to use Plastiq as of this week.

In Brief:

  • Plastiq can now be used to pay vendors even if they don’t have a credit card.

  • The company aims to give businesses more control over their own finances.

  • Using Plastiq also means more rewards and a greater threshold of capital.

What does this mean?

Commercial cards (such as Visa’s offering) make financing easier to access for businesses – thanks to this collaboration they can now use these to pay for supplies and logistics.
