UK FinTech SumUp is making its mobile payments platform free throughout the Covid-19 crisis.
In Brief:
Fees have been waived until 30 April.
Retailers can use the service to settle transactions remotely via a link.
There will also be a new free invoicing feature allowing companies to send and record electronic invoices.
What does this mean?
This will help small businesses keep up operations throughout the pandemic. The solution is largely aimed at retailers which are on lockdown and especially companies that offer delivery services.
