FinTech Stripe has announced its bank transfer offering is available to businesses around the world.
In Brief:
It launched in Japan earlier this year.
Now, it’s being made available in Europe and Mexico.
It offers a virtual bank account number (VBAN) to map transfers and resolve payment errors through an API and dashboard.
What does this mean?
The new feature enables businesses to return payments to customers more easily, when this would previously have required a new bank transfer. The plan is to roll out the capability into the US later down the line.
