Challenger bank Starling has launched a business Euro account.
In Brief:
-
This comes as the company plans expansion into Ireland.
-
The debit card will allow users to spend in either Euros or Sterling.
-
The business account will not have fees for European transactions.
What does this mean?
Starling is following in rival Revolut’s footsteps with its focus on the Irish market. Starling applied for a banking license in Ireland earlier this year while Revolut has recently appointed a CEO for Ireland.
