Starling Bank has launched a new feature making it easier for people to plan the payment of their bills.

People can now make specific recurring bill payments from an allotted “pot”.
The “Savings Space” pots can be kept separate from their main account.
Customers will able be notified when bills are paid and can view transactions in the specific Space.
What does this mean?
Starling has said simply that its customers asked for this feature and the bank has created it. It is part of the goal to help people manage their money better so they can allocate savings to a specific purpose, and don’t have to remember to transfer money into their current account.
