Standard Chartered Bank has introduced a number of digital services for its customers in India.
In Brief:
-
Customers in India will now be able to submit service requests through its digital banking portal.
-
Previously these were only available in branch or over the phone.
-
There are 28 requests available on the all-digital platform, with the option to add more.
What does this mean?
The service will make it easier for customers in India to do everyday banking tasks, such as ordering a new chequebook or cancelling a card that has been lost. The bank says this will enable customers to manage their finances from the “safety and comfort” or their own home, and it has also rolled out the service in Singapore and Malaysia.
