Marqeta has hired Alan Carlisle as the new chief compliance officer.

-Carlisle oversaw SoFi’s compliance management program across lending, mortgage, securities, and banking sectors.
-A major focus for Carlisle at the card issuing platform will be, according to the company, ensuring compliance “is baked into everything Marqeta does”.
