A former Revolut executive is launching a ‘smartbank’.
In Brief:

Sync has a multicurrency offering and aggregates different bank accounts.
-
It was founded by Revolut’s former head of product design and strategy, Ricky Lee.
-
The company has already partnered with Mastercard.
What does this mean?
Sync appears to bring together features already on offer from challenger banks and FinTechs like Curve. It will bring together various bank accounts in one hub and offers a range of budgeting and foreign exchange features. It also includes end-to-end encrypted cloud storage.
