RotaCloud, a staff management software provider, and FinTech Orka Pay, have teamed up to offer early access to wages.
In Brief:
- The service can now be offered to 100,000 people across 3,000 businesses in the UK.
- It focuses on SMEs which RotaCloud works with already, in sectors like hospitality and retail.
- Workers can claim up to 50% of their wages as soon as they complete a shift.
What does this mean?
Another form of credit, early wage withdrawal options are a way for FinTechs to offer people more flexibility around managing their money. It’s also a way for companies to offer a perk or benefit to their staff that keeps their financial wellbeing in mind.
So far, it will benefit companies and their staff in the UK, but RotaCloud already has customers across 11 countries for its software so there is scope for the partnership to grow.
