Revolut to hire 3,500 staff through deal with Visa

Community hub company Revolut will hire around 3,500 new staff.

In Brief:

  • The news comes as part of a global deal with Visa.

  • The company will look to expand across 24 new markets including Brazil, Japan, Russia and the US.

  • Visa already has an agreement with Revolut which has now been expanded.

What does this mean?

Pending regulatory approval, we should see the digital bank up and running across five continents by the end of the year. Despite being digital only, challenger banks are finding it’s still necessary to scale up their workforce significantly as they expand. Earlier this month, Revolut announced it would make 400 new hires in Portugal, with a focus on customer care as it develops its offering in that market.
