Revolut’s CEO has said he is considering adding features like mortgages and cryptocurrency wallets, Reuters reports.
In Brief:
CEO Nik Storonsky has suggested these features as elements of the “superapp” Revolut aims to become.
In the short term, the focus is on expanding remittances and offering buy now, pay later.
It already offers cryptocurrency and could expand this into trading.
What does this mean?
Revolut has been clear for a long time that its strategy is to become a superapp. However Storonsky has also said a key element it’s concentrating on now is improving fee-free remittances which “no one else in the world” can do.
