Revolut has enabled cardholders in the UK and Switzerland to pay in cryptocurrency.
In Brief:
Its latest feature will enable customers to make payments with cryptocurrency tokens in their Revolut wallets.
Existing cards can now be used to pay in digital currency the same way users already switch between fiat currency wallets.
Revolut has also added 12 new tokens to its platform.
What does this mean?
Revolut now offers users the ability not just to hold around 100 types of cryptocurrency, but spend with them too – this responds to an increasing demand from customers. However, the FinTech has also acknowledged a lack of education around crypto and is rewarding users for taking part in educational content too.
