Retail investing platform Primary Bid has hired Sir Donald Brydon as its new Chairman.
In Brief:
Sir Donald Brydon was previously the Chairman of the London Stock Exchange.
Most recently he has been in a similar role at accountancy FinTech Sage.
He has also chaired Royal Mail before it went public in 2013.
What does this mean?
Since being founded in 2016, PrimaryBid has enabled individuals to access one-off company fundraisings via an app. In October last year, it raised $50mn. Anand Sambasivan has said Brydon brings “significant FTSE board experience”.
