Ripsy Bandourian, formerly Vice President at Booking.com, has joined Plaid as its head of Europe.
In Brief:
Bandourian will be based in Amsterdam to lead Plaid’s European expansion.
Former head of international Keith Grose will focus on running the UK business.
Prior to working with Booking.com, Bandourian has worked with Apple, Goldman Sachs and McKinsey.
What does this mean?
Plaid has stated it is planning an “aggressive” expansion in Europe this year. It will grow its headcount in the region and hire specific managers for France and Germany.
