Paysme funding round to power FinTech Super App for SMEs

Paysme is raising £1m to power the first FinTech Super App - championing underserved small business communities by accelerating their transition towards the digital economy.

So, what could we deliver with £1m in one year?

1. Embedded Financial Services – mobile payments, digital banking and e-commerce services will be complemented through accounting, insurance, lending, loyalty and rewards all on a single platform.

2. Connecting the Black Cab industry – we aim to double the amount of black cab and licensed taxi drivers our platform from 12,000 to 25,000 through the expansion of our national taxi app.

3. Revolutionising the Market High Street – with 281 street markets onboard – accounting for over 20% of the industry - we expect to double our market share through launching our retail e-commerce platform.

4. Modernising the Match Day Experience – we have kicked off stadium card payments for our first EFL football club and look forward to signing more historic clubs’ this season.

5. Powering up Paysme – we are forecast to become EBITDA positive in 2022, with our team growing from 3 to 22 employees as we scale up revenues & profits.
