Blockchain infrastructure business Paxos has added $40mn to its Series D funding round.
In Brief:
The top-up comes from Bank of America, Coinbase Ventures, Founders Fund and FTX.
The round was already at $300mn.
This brings the company’s current valuation to $2.4bn.
What does this mean?
Bank of America is already part of the Paxos Settlement Service and is among clients of Paxos which include Credit Suisse and Revolut.
