FinTech Alliance company OpenPayd has hired a new Head of Payments Infrastructure.
In Brief:
Barry O’Sullivan will be Head of Payments Infrastructure at the business.
O’Sullivan has previously held senior positions across number of payment and FX providers.
He’ll be responsible for enhancing OpenPayd’s offering and adding new payments capabilities.
What does this mean?
OpenPayd says that payment acceptance is currently negatively impacted by the limited infrastructure available. It hopes to use its BaaS platform to connect instant payment schemes across the globe. O’Sullivan says he is looking forward to helping OpenPayd’s customers scale globally.
