NatWest and Mastercard have extended their payments app to almost have of UK mobile banking users.

The Pay by Bank app (PbBa) for secure online payments is being extended.
It will be available to app users across NatWest Group’s brands Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank and Coutts.
PbBa will be available to over 21mn UK mobile banking apps for free by the end of 2021.
What does this mean?
This comes after NatWest announced the migration of its debit cards to Mastercard. The app will enable customers to make payments from their bank account online, securely and for free.
