Schwierholz takes over from Jan Kemper as the mobile bank’s chief financial officer
In Brief:
- N26’s former CFO, Jan Kemper, left the company a few weeks ago after a year and a half to pursue other ventures
- Schwierholz joins the bank with decades of experience in both the technology industry and in financial management, having been CFO and partner at venture capital firm Iconical, CFO at global mobility provider Flix SE and CFO of AirBerlin
- The Berlin-based bank shared plans to expand its crypto trading into five new European markets last week despite an overall downturn in crypto prices over the last year
What does this mean?
“With Arnd Schwierholz, N26 gains an experienced financial leader with a strong track record across different industries and business models,” N26 supervisory board chair Marcus Mosen said. “I am convinced that Arnd, with his extensive experience and his passion for finance, will make an important contribution to the development of N26.”
