Payments platform Modulrhas opened up a Netherlands office as part of its expansion into the EU.

Modulr offers API-led Payments-as-a-Service.
The new office will be a base for its EU-wide expansion in 2022-23.
It is in the process of applying for an EMI licence from the Dutch Central Bank.
What does this mean?
Modulr was recently named the second fastest growing tech company in the UK and is now expanding further afield.
Currently, Modulr’s European team is working under an existing Irish EMI licence. It will be expanded across a number of functions including product, compliance and business development as the Dutch licence comes through.
