FinTech Modulr has announced it is joining Visa as a principal issuing member

Modulr now has access to Visa’s industry leading payments network.
This will add extra functionality to Modulr’s offering.
It’s hoped that Modulr will be able to add improvements such as optimised pricing, speed to market and a simpler way to launch Visa products.
What does this mean?
As Modulr can now issue Visa products directly, it has more control over its own offering than before. CEO Myles Stephenson comments that the partnership with a “leading card scheme” will help build a more reliable service and “pioneer payments innovations”.
