Mastercard has announced it is expanding its Start Path programme to focus on open banking.

Embedded finance business mmob has been added to the programme.
Also included are the UAE’s Dapi, Indonesia’s Finantier, Nigeria’s Mono and US based Paywallet.
What does this mean?
FinTech Alliance company mmob said it was “thrilled” to have been selected for the programme as one of five startups from over 1500. It commented: “We will be using the next three months to work with Mastercard’s teams, develop our product and introduce mmob’s solution to Mastercard’s global network.”
