Paul Stoddart, previously of Vocalink which was acquired by Mastercard, has joined GoCardless.

GoCardless began in 2011 and is now a unicorn valued at $2.1bn.
Stoddart is now president of the open banking business.
He will look after the strategy, sales, product, marketing and customer teams.
What does this mean?
Stoddart comes from his role as president of new payment platforms at Mastercard, from being CEO of Vocalink when it was acquired. He has also held positions at Barclaycard and NatWest.
