FinTech Alliance company Marqeta is working on a solution for faster payments in the logistics industry.
In Brief:
Marqeta, Uber Freight and workforce payments platform Branch have teamed up.
They will work together to bring fast, reliable payments and carrier-first financial services logistics and transportation.
Marqeta’s card issuing platform and Branch’s digital wallet will be used by Uber Freight.
What does this mean?
Uber Freight aims to pay carriers in the logistics and transportation industries faster, and put carriers first enabling them to be paid two hours after approved proof of delivery – as opposed to waiting 30 days as is often the standard.
