London’s Basinghall Partners will invest £84mn in tech startups  

Basinghall Partners is closing its first venture capital fund.

In Brief:

• The fund is for European earlystage business-focused startups.

• Amounts between €500,000 and €5mn will be awarded to businesses.

• The fund will focus on digital disruption of ‘traditional’ industries like finance.

What does this mean?

The fund will go first to the UK, central and eastern Europe, Germany, Spain and Portugal. Basinghall already has a presence in the UK, Germany, Portugal and Luxembourg.
